First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Burrow.
Logistics Assistant
Started with a phone interview, then a zoom call with the manager. It was pretty chill, with a startup feel. Everyone was nice. I just wasn't the best fit for what the job required. They asked typical interview questions, including behavioral and scenario-based ones. It involved critical thinking and knowledge of the industry.

Product Development Associate
It was a really thorough interview process, with 4 main stages. First, there was a phone screen with HR, then an interview with the hiring manager. After that, I had back-to-back interviews with different team members I'd be working with. The final step was an interview with the CEO. They also asked for two referrals. They really do a deep dive on every candidate. It's good, but just be aware that the whole thing can take quite a while because of scheduling issues.

Product Manager
So the interview process was a bit of a journey. It started with a 30-minute phone call with HR. Then, I had four 30-minute behavioral interviews back-to-back with a co-ceo, a senior back-end engineer, a marketing person, and a mid-level front-end dev. The final round was a case study that they gave me four days to work on. I had to present my findings for 45-1 hour to the management team. It was a bit weird because they gave me the case study right after my first second-round video chat. I put in about ~15 hours on that case study and got good feedback during the presentation, but in the end, they said they were 'going in a different direction' and chose other candidates who were a 'stronger fit.' Just a heads up, be really careful about how much time you invest here. It feels like they don't give negative feedback, so you might end up confused.

Marketing
Applied online and was contacted by the hiring team about next steps. Before even scheduling the initial phone screen, I was given an assessment that seemed like a knowledge drain, as in, 'we don’t have any ideas so let’s crowdsource them from candidates.' I debated going through with this because it seemed shady but eventually submitted my assessment. After that, the hiring team reached out to discuss the role and my thinking behind the assessment I submitted. It’s been radio silence ever since, which is an unfortunately common practice nowadays. This company should have the courtesy to close the loop, especially when asking candidates to take time out of their schedule to do some work for them.
