The interview process was super thorough but also super fast. After the first phone screen, you can expect to do some tests to check your skills, then a few more interviews with different people from the department and some higher-ups, and it all ends with a panel interview with the execs. It might seem like a lot, but Burke really cares about finding the right people and making sure the company and culture are a good fit for the candidate too.

I met the recruiter at a career fair from my school. They were very personable and easy to talk to. We then set up a 30-minute phone interview where they asked some standard questions. Nothing too out of the ordinary came up. They asked typical questions like 'Tell me about yourself', 'Favorite & most challenging class', 'Career interests', and 'How would people on your team describe you?'. The interviewer was nice and made me feel comfortable. Even though I didn't get a second interview, I appreciated their prompt response, which was within the timeframe they gave me. They had the courtesy to call me personally, which is better than a generic email. I felt respected. While most interviews aren't 'pleasant', this one wasn't stressful at all. Just be yourself!
