Teller
It's pretty straightforward if you know a bit about banking. You should definitely read up on banking beforehand if you don't have prior experience. They seem to hire pretty frequently. Good luck!
- Can you tell me what you know about banking?
- What's your motivation for applying for this role?
- In five years, where do you envision yourself?
Commercial Banker
I was told to come into the office for an interview. I met with HR, and it was pretty casual, though I did have to wear a suit. They asked me some informal questions and I also handed in paperwork for background checks and drug tests.
- Can you tell me what you understand about Commercial banking?
Wealth Management Assistant
The interview process started with a 30 minute phone screening. After that, there were 3 in person interviews with different team members, with one interview scheduled each week for a month. Then they went silent and I followed up multiple times with no response. I never heard back from them again. It was very unprofessional. I would not recommend.
- What is your motivation for wanting to work at Burke and Herbert?
Universal Banker
I had to interview with two branch managers, and ideally they would have been at the same time, but my interviews were weeks apart and there was no communication in between. The first interview was 15 minutes, and the second was 30 minutes.
