The assessment center is usually two to three days long, but if you're aiming for pilot, it can stretch up to five days. We kick things off on day one with a handwritten motivational statement that you'll need to complete on-site within a set time. Following that, there are a bunch of logic tests, math tests, general knowledge questions, and intelligence tests. By the end of the second day or into the third, you'll also have to show your teamwork skills in two group exercises. Plus, there's a one-on-one chat with a senior officer and a psychologist.

We had a challenging but fair three-day assessment center in Cologne. It included various intelligence and personality tests, a group activity, and a sports test. We also had to prove our eligibility for higher education. The assessment center was demanding but fair.

Arrived by 1330 on the first day, though some arrived later without much issue. Covid test, briefing, bureaucracy, checklist, "dinner" (it was a packed lunch). The second day started at 5 am. Clean rooms before 0530. Breakfast, then work through the stations on the checklist. Demanding day, but I finished myself by early afternoon. Received suitability. The third day was more bureaucracy and scheduling. In summary, rather demanding, but still a positive experience.
