The interview process was well organised and transparent. The hiring manager and recruiter were friendly and provided detailed feedback. I reached the case interview stage but did not proceed further. They explained their decision thoroughly, and I understood where I can improve to have a better chance of success in the future.

First, I had an initial screening with the recruiter. They asked me what I knew about Badoo, then stated that 'Badoo is a heterosexual app,' which I don't think is accurate. They then inquired about my experience, and I described how I gather requirements from various stakeholders and manage/prioritize my backlog. The recruiter commented that I sounded like a project manager and suggested I lack sufficient technical experience, without actually assessing my technical skills. They repeatedly expressed uncertainty about the fit, saying they weren't sure and would need to think about it. It seemed like they weren't well-informed.
