Graphic Designer
So I had a lengthy process with them and then they just ghosted me. It started with several phone interviews, then I had to do a design project test, and finally a panel interview. The main part of the process involved designing a whole campaign for them for free. The recruiter kept saying they really liked me and were serious about hiring me, but in the end, I was ghosted.

The recruiter I spoke with was very nice. The questions were about what I expected. I got an assignment after the interview, and if I did well, I'd get a second interview.
- Would you be open to relocating for this job?
Motion Graphics Designer
First, I got an email from talent for an interview with a Senior Recruiter that week. We scheduled a call, and during the phone call, she talked about the company and the role. I discussed my background and what I was looking for. It was a good chat, and I was invited to speak with the hiring manager the same week because they needed someone urgently. It seemed like a good fit. The next step was a video call with the Hiring Manager. They seemed uninterested from the beginning, introducing themselves multiple times and saying it would be a 'quick one,' suggesting I email HR with any questions. They showed a video of their work, mentioned the company's wealth and benefits, and that they were expanding the team and urgently needed a Motion Designer. Despite their seeming disinterest in me, they seemed okay. They didn't ask many questions, suggesting they might have already found their ideal candidate. They asked me to send some videos via HR, but these were never reviewed. I never heard back and had to follow up a few times. I was told the hiring manager was on a break and I'd hear back soon ('next week'). After 2-3 weeks, I thanked them and wished them well. A simple rejection email would have been better for their image.
