The interview process was good. The recruiter was very communicative and responsive. They moved through the interview stages quickly with seamless scheduling and I was provided advance insight into the hiring team. I spoke with 4-5 people in different functions to really understand the role and how it fit into the overall Go-To-Market motion.

I thought I was super qualified for this Customer Support Manager job, but I only got as far as the recruiter interview. The recruiter mentioned a 'flexible time off policy,' and when I asked for more details about how much time I could actually take, she just said I'd need to discuss it with my manager. After not getting the job, I asked for feedback, but just got a generic, unhelpful response. I suspect they didn't like that I asked about the time off policy. It seems like this company claims to offer time off but doesn't actually want employees to take it. I wouldn't recommend them.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The recruiter reached out to me directly for this role. We had an initial call screen which went well, followed by a video call with the CTO, which also seemed to go well. Next, they asked me to create a project plan for a data warehouse project. After I submitted that, the recruiter said I was moving forward to a virtual interview loop lasting about 4 hours and asked for my availability in 5-hour blocks. I provided my availability, but after a few days with no response, I followed up. The recruiter apologized for the delay, mentioning the interview team was traveling, and said they'd get back to me. In the middle of the availability window I gave, I received a message from the recruiter stating the role had been filled and thanking me for my time, while also expressing interest in staying in touch for future opportunities. It was disappointing and frustrating to be misled, but ultimately a good thing to see the company's true colors before accepting a position.

I wanted to share my experience since there aren't many reviews for this company, and most are very positive. Just so you know, you're applying to a real startup, so be prepared for that. I had one initial call. Honestly, it wasn't a great experience. They mostly just tried to grill me and told me I wasn't cut out for the job because of how many different roles you have to play, the tough nature of the work, the travel involved, and the need to be an expert on everything without any support. They could have done a better job of getting me excited about the role, its potential, and the company's future. They've had a lot of staff turnover because their expectations are unrealistic, even though they're trying to make a big impact in the industry. I've worked at another startup before, and while it was hard, I've never had such a challenging conversation. The interview itself was easy, but if you're really looking to work yourself to the bone with no personal life just to make a name for yourself, then you'd be a great fit.
