The HR person called me and first confirmed she could access my resume. Unfortunately, she couldn't see my relevant experience. I had to explain my background to her. Then, she told me the working hours were Monday to Friday, 11 AM to 8 PM (which should have been in the job posting). She also mentioned they were interviewing about 5 other people. I decided not to proceed after learning about the schedule, as the recruiter didn't seem to know the specific details of the job.

Behavioral Presentation

I saw the opening on LinkedIn and applied. The next day, they emailed me to set up a phone interview, which happened the day after that. It was mostly a get-to-know-you chat, and they told me about the company and the role. At the end of the call, they set up an in-person interview for later that week. They mentioned I'd need to do a 'teach back' presentation on a topic I choose, to show I can explain things well, like we do with customers. The in-person interview had me present to three people from Customer Care, followed by a more standard interview. The whole thing took about an hour, and they showed me around before I left. After some back-and-forth calls, they offered me the job.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

After my application was received, I got an email from a team leader to schedule a 20 minute phone interview. This call was to ask me about myself, my past work, and my customer service approach. After that, they said they wanted to move forward with an in-person interview. They sent me the first chapter of their property management accounting book and asked me to prepare a lesson to teach it back. The in-person interview involved meeting two team leaders and the customer service manager. We then did the teach-back, and they asked a few follow-up questions. Then, we talked more about my work and personal experiences, what I can offer, and my service standards. The last 15 minutes were spent just chatting and getting to know each other personally.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • The teach-back was the hardest part, especially since I don't have an accounting background and had to create a lesson plan from scratch, but it was worth it.
