The talent acquisition specialist provided a negative experience. The call was proceeding adequately, but then I was asked inappropriate and offensive questions concerning my family's heritage. Given that I've had positive experiences with recruiters at this company previously, I was taken aback by this unprofessional treatment. Because of this unfortunate experience, I decided not to continue with the interview process.

I was emailed by someone and asked to talk to a recruiter. The recruiter screening call was nice. Then I had a Zoom interview with the hiring manager and the recruiter. All in all, the whole thing took about two weeks and it was pretty easy and fair.

Behavioral Case Presentation

I got recruited via LinkedIn, then had a recruiter call, applied online, then an HR interview, followed by a hiring manager interview. After that, I completed a writing exercise, and finally had a panel interview in-office. I was rejected on 10/26.

Behavioral Technical

I had a really uncomfortable interview experience with this company. I got there super early, like 30 minutes ahead of my scheduled time, but they insisted I wait until the exact start time. The whole building smelled strongly of marijuana, which was pretty off-putting. I just popped to the restroom to freshen up quickly, thinking the smell might have stuck to my clothes, and then I got called twice even though they told me to wait. After that, I got lectured for not staying in the lobby, even though I was still early and just briefly left. During the actual interview, they left me alone for a solid 10-15 minutes, and then somehow blamed me for it starting late, despite me being there early and in the room way before. The whole vibe was super condescending, like they thought I didn't know anything about HR, even with my years of experience, especially when we talked about LinkedIn. They even questioned my resume and basically accused me of lying about my accomplishments, which has never happened and felt totally unfounded. It seemed pretty biased from the start, and I got the feeling I wasn't really being seriously considered. I saw a review from someone who works there saying leadership belittles people and is arrogant, and based on my experience, I'd totally agree.
