The hiring process was pretty chill and not too formal. After I sent in my application, the person in charge of aquatics called me for a quick in-person chat. We talked about my past lifeguarding work, if I had my CPR/first aid certs, and when I could work. They seemed mostly interested in whether I was dependable, certified, and okay with enforcing safety rules. Once they checked my certifications, they offered me the job pretty soon after.
