First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Buckle.
Sales Associate
The interview was held at the store itself so I could get a feel for the environment. It was a casual setting, not in a formal room. They started by asking me to talk about myself and my previous work history.
- What makes you want to be a part of the Buckle team?
Brand Representative
It was a face-to-face interview, pretty straightforward and easy to talk to the interviewer. They asked some questions about my past experiences and some role-playing scenarios to test my skills. It wasn't too intimidating and felt like a good practice for future, more intense interviews.
- Describe how you would greet a new customer entering the store.
Intern
They asked common questions about my work history and things like that. You should prepare stories to tell about your work past for the interview. I was asked questions like why you would be a great fit for the position.
- What do you like about sales?
- What makes you enjoy sales?
Sales Teammate
It was a really unusual interview. They had me go to the back of the store, and we did the interview near the dressing rooms. It was pretty friendly but a little weird doing it that way, maybe they didn't have an office space?
- Tell me why you think you're a good fit for this job.
- What interests you about working for Buckle?
