First, I had a call with HR for a quick background check. Then, I was given a design exercise to complete. I had to present this work at the company's HQ after submitting it beforehand. The interview at HQ lasted about 1 to 1.5 hours.

It started off slow, taking two weeks for the recruiter to get back to me after I'd already found another job. The Director of Retail, though, was a really interesting and nice person with tons of experience.

The first "unofficial" meeting went really well, very positive. However, the official feedback came much later than promised (a week late). Without even starting the official application process, I was rejected with the reason that they had already chosen another candidate. This is questionable because the position was posted online again the same week I was rejected, AND the position was also advertised for another branch. So I ask myself, why can't managers reject candidates themselves and give feedback on the meeting at the same time? If it's not a fit, that's fine. But don't wish candidates "all the best for the future" if you don't have the decency to give feedback.
