First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Buchalter.
Associate
The interview process is long with many rounds. From my experience and talking to others, there's a significant wait between each stage before getting any feedback, which can be annoying.
- What makes you prefer Buchalter over your prior company?
Summer Associate
The interview took about an hour and involved two associates, one a second-year and another mid-level. They were both pretty friendly and we chatted about personal stuff. It was easy talking to them, and overall, I had a good experience.
- What are some of your hobbies?
Associate
I had a virtual interview with two of the department heads for about 30 minutes. It was a casual and warm conversation, but I was also asked traditional interview questions. I was invited back for a second round interview, which included four rounds and meeting about 7 attorneys in the department.
- Could you describe your experience in this practice area?
- What specifically about this practice area sparks your interest?
