Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BTS.
Intern
It started with an online interview where they gave me info about the company. I had to do a self-introduction focusing on my experience with team communication and any related experience I have. Then there was an assessment and a case presentation.
- Tell me about yourself.
- Can you share your experience in team communication?
- What is your relevant experience?
Intern
After submitting an application, you'll go through a panel interview. In this panel interview, we'll ask you situational questions to see how you handle problem-solving, communication, leadership, adaptability, decision-making, and critical thinking in real-life situations. This helps us figure out if you're a good fit.
- Tell me about a past difficulty you encountered and how you managed to overcome it.
MBA Intern
The hiring journey had 3 steps. The first round was a 45-min chat about behaviour and resume, very conversational and friendly, with a senior consultant and HR. The second round was a case study, where a case was provided a week before, and you had to present your solution in 30 min. This round is key, showing your creativity and how you connect with BTS' ethos of 'making strategy personal', not just a typical case solution. The third round was a casual chat with the head of office about your experience, interest, and to ask company questions. It was all very friendly, reflecting the firm's daily culture.
- Can you share your experience to date?
- What draws you to BTS?
- How do you think you'd fit in at BTS?
