Customer Success Manager
I was contacted by a recruiter and then had a phone interview with a hiring manager. After the call went well, I followed up but didn't hear back for over a week. Then, I was invited to an event to meet the team, which turned out to be an in-person interview with four team members. It wasn't ideal for a formal interview, and I had no prep time, which was a disadvantage. I didn't know it would be a full interview beforehand. A few days later, they said they weren't moving forward because they felt I lacked experience and wasn't ready for the role. I wish they'd made that decision earlier, especially after making me do tasks and drive an hour, knowing my experience level. I felt I didn't stand a chance from the start. It seemed less about my experience and more about their extreme workload expectations. It was good interview experience, but a disappointing process. The recruiter was great to work with.

Firmware Engineer
Had a good chat with the team, multiple rounds involved. There was a programming part, then a face-to-face with the manager, and another face-to-face with the technical director. The whole thing was pretty smooth overall. Got feedback the next day and the offer came through really quickly. The package was good.

R&D Tester
Overall, it was a pretty friendly interview experience. First off, we chatted about my background and I got to learn about the company. They asked why I was into this role and not, say, a software dev job. Then, they showed me their test cases and the software itself. My task was to first look over the test cases and talk about how I'd go about testing. After that, I had to actually show them on the software. To wrap things up, they asked about my expected salary and when I could start.
- Would finding a bug or breaking the software be considered a success in your eyes?
Tester
First, HR will look at your resume and cover letter to see if you fit the job. Then, there's an initial chat over the phone or video to talk about your background, what you're looking for, and to give you info on the company and role. After that, you might get a task or test to see your tech skills and how you solve problems in a real situation. Lastly, a more in-depth technical interview with a senior tester or team lead to discuss the test, your past projects, and specific testing methods or tools.
- Can you share your experience?
