First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BSI Solutions.
Systems and Network Administrator
The interview process started with a hands-on technical test where two interviewers disconnected a desktop component and asked me to fix it, which I did. The next stage involved cloning a server or desktop image to another. After this, I met with the Dir of IT and was extended a job offer.
- Can you explain your experience cloning VMWare machines?
Marketing Intern
The initial phone interview was short, and I got feedback on the next steps within a couple of days. The interview took about 30 minutes and included a full review of my resume with some follow-up questions.
- How did you find out about this job opening?
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
Technical Recruiter
Started with a phone screen with the recruiter, then got invited to meet the CEO. The office was in a WeWork and I had to look around a bit to find him, but I got there early because I was in downtown Charlotte. It was okay at first, I brought my resume but he had a copy. He asked about hiring different IT roles and mostly talked about the company. About 30 minutes in, he started talking about how recruiters would get paid, which sounded like it was all commission. I asked what the yearly earnings might be if the target number of hires was met, thinking it was a reasonable question. He completely lost it and said he needed to 'escort me off the premises immediately' and to 'take all your belongings,' even trying to hand me my resume. I reacted quickly and thought I got the last laugh because I kept him waiting with my resume in his hand and said, 'you printed that copy, I have all my belongings.' The walk out of the building was fine.
- Could you tell me about the types of roles you've recruited in the past?
- Can you describe the payment structure for recruiters?
- What is the projected annual income if we meet our hiring goals?
Functional Analyst
The interview process was pretty straightforward, not overly challenging. They expect you to have relevant experience and to come prepared with questions. Make sure you read the job description carefully and be ready to talk about how you meet its requirements. It's also a good idea to look up your interviewers online beforehand so you know who you'll be speaking with.
- How do you think your skills align with the position?
