First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BSI Financial.
Financial Analyst
The interview process started with a pre-screening interview that included some behavioural questions. The second round was actually two interviews back to back. The first one focused on more behavioural questions and work culture, while the second was a skill testing round. The third round had questions about culture fit, like asking about your 5-year plan.
- Tell me about yourself and some behavioural questions, also with skill testing and culture match questions.
Trade Analyst
The interview consisted of moderate technical questions. The interviewer, an AVP, was very condescending which gave me insight into the company culture. The interaction was brief and I realized it wasn't a good fit. I think I avoided a bad situation. I won't apply there again.
- Can you explain the IF function in VLOOKUP?
- Tell me about your experience with pivot tables.
- What are your thoughts on big data?
Operations Associate
The interview process started with a written test that had 30 questions covering logical reasoning, math, and English. After that, there was an Excel test which involved working with an Excel sheet containing 20 tabs. The Excel test included questions on functions like sum, sumif, datedif, vlookup, concatenate, and text to column. The final round was an interview with either the Senior Vice President or a manager.
- Tell me about your previous work experience.
- What do you know about mortgages?
Coordinator
I went through three interviews for this role, and at least ten people interviewed me. The last interview was with the vice president. The questions were directly related to the job. If you were prepared, it wouldn't be difficult because they don't ask trick questions or scenario-based questions.
- Can you share your past experiences?
- What are your thoughts on work ethics?
