First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BSC Group.
Senior Software Engineer
Had a phone screener who asked about my experience. They didn't share much about the actual job. I hadn't done much research beforehand, so it didn't go well.
- Could you tell me about your background and experience?
- What is your current role or what do you do?
Deck Cadet
The interview went really well, honestly. I didn't pass the oral part, though. I felt like I showed them my skills and knowledge well enough to impress them. They actually want me to try again for the same role and seemed like they wanted to help me out.
- Could you tell me how many siblings you have?
Environmental Technician
I did two interviews that were pretty casual. They said they'd decide in a couple weeks. I kept following up with HR but heard nothing. I guess I didn't get the job. It took almost 3 months after the second interview to finally get an email back. If they had just been more respectful of my time, I wouldn't be writing this. Obviously I didn't get the job, but it's the lack of communication that's the issue.
- What topics are you currently passionate about learning?
- What interests you about working at BSC?
IT Intern
Had a good interview process, with two interviews total. The first was over Zoom and the second was in person at their Boston office. I spoke with the Head of IT during the first interview and then met the rest of the team during the in-person one.
- Tell me about your experience and elaborate on it.
