Marketing Coordinator
After we review your application, the hiring manager will reach out to you for an online interview. This is because you would be reporting to them. The interview lasts about 30 minutes, which is pretty standard, and they might ask you about how you would handle some of the duties of the job.
- What are your salary expectations?
Talent Acquisition Intern
The interview was easy, conducted online, and was mostly a 1-hour chat to assess soft skills. It was split into two halves, one in Portuguese and one in English, to test language proficiency. The conversation was good, one of the easiest interviews I've had, but what really bothered me were the many promises made. The interviewer really sold the role, but in the end, nothing they said was applied. They said they'd give feedback the next day because there were only two more stages and they were in a hurry, but that feedback never came, not even when I messaged them asking about the status of the position, which left me a bit disappointed. Overall, it was a good interview, but the interviewers could be more truthful and respectful to candidates.
- Why were you interested in this role?
Computational Fluid Dynamics Engineer
The interview process was super fast. First, an HR screen, then I talked with the hiring manager and the director. A big thing for them is speaking French – most emails were in French, and they wanted me to speak a bit to check my level. They liked my background and hinted at another round, but the job went to someone else who I think is a French speaker. Seriously, if you don't speak French, don't bother.
- Can you introduce yourself? Additionally, if faced with limitations in cost, performance, and time, which of these three would you sacrifice and justify your reasoning?
Developer
I first had a phone call with a recruiter to talk about my background and what makes me want this job. After that, a technical interview was done by the team lead. It focused on my programming skills, especially in C++ and embedded systems development. I also got asked some behavioral questions about how I work in a team and handle technical challenges. Lastly, they went over the job details and what the company expects.
- How do you handle disagreements within a development team?
