3-4 rounds total. First round is general, covering tech, people, and strategy. Then a 2.5 hour tech coding round. They did initial short listing and then aggressively set up interviews, calling on weekends and setting up interviews really late at night, like 11:30 PM, no boundaries. If you don't make it, expect to be ghosted by the recruiter with no feedback. They seem to be looking for a coder in an EM role and mostly don't care about people and processes.

I went through three rounds of interviews. Two of the conversations were with long-time company employees and were quite good, even though I was unsure about taking on a management role at the time. One round, however, was tougher – a technical chat with someone who had recently joined. We had a disagreement about microfrontend architectures; I mentioned iframes as a possibility, but they were adamant that only module-based microfrontends were valid. This difference of opinion created a negative vibe and likely influenced the outcome, as their feedback led to my rejection. Plus, the compensation was lower than the market rate, which made the opportunity less attractive. On a positive note, the recruiters were very responsive and kept me updated with feedback throughout, which was great.

So the whole process took about 3-4 weeks to complete. The recruiter (Calvin) organised it well and kept me updated at each phase. There was 7 rounds in total. 1. 30mins call with Hiring manager - tech discussion 2. 2hrs coding round 3. Another 2hrs coding round 4. 1hr call with an Engineer manager - tech discussion 5. General discussion with the CTO 6. Tech/People management related round with Director of Engineering 7. General discussion with HRBP
