First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Brown Edwards.
Intern
The interview process wasn't too long. It consisted of a phone screen, followed by reference checks and a video interview. I found it manageable and passed without issues. My advice is to prepare and research the company.
- What motivates your interest in working with our company?
Accounting Assistant
The interview process was short, easy, and insightful. I liked that there wasn't much pressure and it felt more like a comfortable conversation than a tough interview. They didn't ask many questions and were interested in getting to know not just my experience but me as a person too.
- Can you tell me about the software you know and how dependable you are with using it for this role?
Associate
It was a get-to-know-you kind of thing, not really structured or anything. They asked about past work experience and what I learned from it. They just wanted to get a sense of who I am and see if I could communicate well.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
- What is your motivation for pursuing a career in public accounting?
CHRO
Interviews with COO, Senior Partners and CEO. Had to do a detailed case study and review key documents. References were checked. Discussions were strategic and about leadership of a shared services function.
- What are your thoughts on implementing an unlimited PTO policy?
