First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Broulims.
Meat Cutter
We had one interview, and we talked about my experience and the job. It was done on Zoom, so I did not have to travel. When I got the job, I did not start cutting meat right away; I started on the fish case and butcher block.
- Are you comfortable with customer service?
Management
Super! Very friendly. Noted my worth! We're willing to work with schedule and refer me to a job that fit my credentials. I felt this is the first company that acknowledged the impact of my schooling and was willing to admit an entry level job at their facility wouldn't be fulfilling for my goals.
- Tell me about your background.
- Tell me about your experience.
- What are your hobbies?
Bakery Clerk
I did a group interview with a bunch of different people. We all sat in a circle with the head of the bakery and the store manager and answered questions one by one. It was a pretty unique interview.
- What is your intended length of stay in this position, should it be offered?
- How long do you plan to stay if you get the job?
Cashier
The interviewer at the Shelley location seemed unprepared and rude, conducting the interview poorly. Her questions were unfocused, and she didn't appear to listen to my responses. The existing staff seemed unhappy and disengaged.
- Can you discuss your previous employer?
