This was a 2-month virtual interview process. It required constant follow-up via email to get any updates. The process involved several rounds with typical interview questions. The team has been there a long time and uses outdated systems, which means they still expect old-school cover letters and interview styles. The pay is low and they don't negotiate. Some former higher-ups have returned and praised the environment, but they are part of the reason the systems haven't improved. This was a new role, and they weren't clear on what they needed when asked. After multiple emails, I was informed they hired someone who was a closer fit. I'd avoid this place.

I submitted an online application and heard back about 10 days later. They asked me to go back to the job portal and record 3 video questions, but there were actually only 2. I asked about this but didn't get a response. About a week later, I got a rejection email. The email asking for the video responses said there would be 3 short questions. When I did the recording, there were only 2, and it said 'Thanks, we'll be in touch.' I emailed recruiting to ask about the missing third question, but got a generic response saying they can't discuss applicant status and wished me luck.

I got contacted by BAM and was asked to submit answers to a few questions via a video portal where I recorded my response. A few weeks later, I was asked to come in for an in-person interview with 3 people. All 3 were friendly and our conversations went well. I was a little annoyed that I wasn't told I'd be there for 2+ hours so hopefully the length of an interview can be expressed beforehand going forward. It's been over 6 weeks since my interview and it's been radio silence from them since then. I've tried contacting them multiple times, but have received no response. Obviously I didn't get the job, but would appreciate BAM to at least inform me of that decision rather than ghost me after putting in a good amount of my time to interview for the position. Just very unprofessional and something people interviewing with them should know in the future.

My interview experience was pretty good. I had a phone screen first which went well. After that, I met with some of the exec team members in separate meetings. I didn't get a response back when I followed up though. It was definitely an interesting experience, and even though I didn't get the job this time, I'd really like to try again with this organization.
