The whole experience was confusing, to be honest. First, a recruiter called, took my details, and said she'd let me know if I passed the screening. I followed up after three days, and she told me I was rejected. I was fine with it. Then, a week later, the same recruiter called about the same job! I mentioned I'd been rejected, and she said there might have been a misunderstanding, maybe a different recruiter called. But I had her number, so I knew it was her. She admitted some confusion and asked if I was still interested. I said yes, and she set up a face-to-face interview at the BKC campus in Mumbai. Since I was new to the city, I got there 45 minutes early. When I arrived, they said I couldn't wait inside and there was no waiting area. So I waited on the ground floor until they let me up. I was supposed to meet four people, but only one senior manager was available. He said I was a perfect match and just needed to answer a few questions. He talked about the company, the role, and mentioned the position opened up because the previous employee passed away, which was quite emotional. I briefly shared my background. He asked about 10 questions, 2-3 about each of my past roles, and I answered them. After about 10 minutes, he said everything looked good and I could go. I asked a couple of questions before leaving. The whole thing took maybe 30 minutes. The next day, I asked the recruiter for feedback but got no clear answer. A few days later, she said the interviewer was on vacation. I followed up again later, but no response. I was left hanging and eventually ghosted.

I had 2 rounds of interviews. It wasn't the hardest. I got interviewed over phone and then had another interview after that. It was pretty chill. I would recommend applying. It isn't the hardest interview process if you have the right knowledge.

The interview process was great. I explained my experience and highlighted what I can contribute to the company. It was smooth and transparent. Be prepared for personal questions because you'll need to be friendly.

Got an email from a recruiter pretty quickly after applying, like within a week. Had a first call with them, lasted about 20 mins, asked about my background, experience, and why I wanted to work at Brookfield.
