It was pretty easy! I met with pretty much the entire team. They work with inpatient, outpatient and NICU patients. Morning consults and afternoon outpatients. Their workflow seemed well-organized. The hours they offered didn't really line up with what I was expecting.

I had an initial phone screening that went pretty well. After that, I did a virtual interview which was a little awkward, but overall it was okay. Then, the person who did my first screening called me back. I've honestly never had such a rude and weird interaction with an employer before. The HR recruiter asked me "why do you even want this job and what do you think you will be doing in this position?" I explained some specific parts of the job description that caught my interest and that I was really looking forward to. But then he told me, "oh, you won't be doing any of that. All you will be doing is writing patient pamphlets." When I asked why the job description listed all those other duties, he said he had no clue but mentioned I was overqualified anyway. He then laughed, wished me a nice day, and hung up.

The interview process took a while, about a month. It started with a quick 5-minute phone call from an HR recruiter. If that went well, I had my first interview with the recruiter and a hiring manager. Then, the second interview was with another hiring manager and some other leaders from the HR team. The final interview was a short 5-minute video call with the VP of HR. Overall, it was a good experience. The interviewers were professional and answered my questions clearly. The questions they asked were relevant. The only downside was the length of the process.

First, I got a call from someone offering me a time to set up a phone interview. We set a date, and they called back. I answered some general interview questions, like 'tell me about a time you had to think critically.' Then, I was invited to the next step, which was a group interview. We met for a group interview, went to different tables with unit coordinators, and were asked different interview questions.
