First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Brocade.
Senior Manager
Applied online and got referred. Recruiter reached out fast, had a good chat, and then a phone interview with the hiring manager was next. There was a few weeks delay so I followed up with both HM and recruiter. Then, I was told I'd come for an in-person interview. Everyone I met was prepped and nice. Again, no communication after that interview and again a few weeks passed and I followed-up to see about next steps and was told by the recruiter he would look into it. Eventually told they hired someone else. Liked the company and found the recruiter and teams friendly but the hiring process was slow and uncommunicative.
- Can you describe your background?
Manager
Great experience and people. The process was super efficient with good communication throughout. Technology made the remote interviews work well. I first spoke with HR, then met department heads and future colleagues. They showed it's a balanced company with good benefits and a talented team.

Senior Manager
This interview went really well, though they seemed a bit unprepared for my application and questions. I asked them about their 5-year outlook for the company, and they mentioned uncertainty due to Broadcom's acquisition of Brocade and the planned company split. There's a lot of uncertainty in the company right now.
