Occupational Therapist
I had a conversation with a recruiter from Broad River Rehab. The recruiter was friendly and seemed interested in learning about me as a person. We talked about my prior work experience, including my student fieldwork and other jobs I've done. We also discussed any open positions they might have in my area.
- Can you tell me about the positions you've held in the past?
Physical Therapist Assistant
I had a phone chat first, and then I went in for a face-to-face meeting at the clinic with the hiring manager. She was really nice and friendly, which made me feel pretty comfortable during the whole interview.
- What makes you want to join our team?
- Tell me about a difficult situation you encountered and how you dealt with it.

The recruitment process was very helpful. Then, I had an onsite tour with the rehab manager and an interview. It was super informative and collaborative. They didn't do too much interviewing or oversharing. We had a collaborative discussion about whether I was a good fit. They respectfully talked about potential barriers and also highlighted the benefits of a potential match.
- Can you tell me about yourself and your background in relation to skilled nursing?
- Can you explain your previous job and how this role would address certain challenges?
