This was a really straightforward process. They didn't ask many questions and hired me on the spot without requiring prior experience. It seemed like they were most interested in my people skills and problem-solving abilities.

I dropped off my application in person during their suggested hours. After a couple of days with no response, I called. Still no word, so I called again a few days later, and they scheduled an interview with the GM for the next day. When I arrived, I hung out at the bar with a bartender until the GM was ready. We had a short, one-on-one interview that lasted about 10 minutes. They offered me the job right then and there!

I interviewed before the restaurant had even opened its doors. I met with the general manager, and honestly, I was dressed up more than he was! He was a nice guy and professional, but I got the sense he was juggling a lot of tasks trying to get the place ready to open.

It was a sit down interview, pretty brief and easy. It took about 30 to 40 minutes total. We spent half the time going over my resume, and they asked me stuff about my past work experience. The interviewer was nice and easy to chat with.
