- why do you want to work here
Asset Management Intern
It was a call with the recruiter, then a superday with three interviews back-to-back. The first one of the superday went well, but the senior people seemed uninterested. One typed the whole time, and the other talked to other employees during my interview. Super unprofessional.

HR Generalist
Applied online for what’s essentially an HR Coordinator role. Had a phone interview with Talent Acquisition, then an in-person interview (who does those nowadays?). The office is new and modern, but corporate (cubicles, no jeans), and they’re big sports fans. It seemed more entry-level than I expected, and not a good cultural fit. They initially said it was mid-level, then mentioned they were interviewing an internal candidate with no HR experience - strange!
- Can you tell me about your experience with ADP?
- Could you please walk me through your resume?
- What is your experience with Leaves of Absence (LOA)?
CAD Designer
My experience was great! I had 4 interviews. The first was with HR to verify my CV. Then I met with the VP, who would be my supervisor, for generic questions about the position. Next, I met with the CAD manager to verify my skills with the design programs. Finally, the most important interview was with the EVP Development, who makes the final decision. Overall, the interview is easy; the key is to be honest and share your experience without being monotonous.
- Can you share your experience?
- What are your career aspirations for the next 5 years?
- What is your ideal job?
