Manager
The recruitment manager was nice and well organized. Some of the people appear genuinely talented and interested in their work, but the interview process showed inconsistencies in how they define themselves and their culture. I'm not sure I would have wanted to join right now if offered.

Attorney
The interview journey kicked off with a preliminary chat with Chris, the TA lead. After that, I had a video call with the hiring manager. Then, I was invited for an in-person interview and later a final virtual onsite. Things moved along pretty fast, and they were clear about what to expect at every point. Chris was super professional, giving me updates fast, honest feedback, and keeping me in the loop, especially during the onsite. Overall, it was a really well-organized and respectful experience for a candidate.
- The hiring manager asked me how I'd be able to make a practical impact in the job if I got it.
- She specifically wanted to know my plan for handling the office's legal tasks and how I'd keep things organized for operational efficiency.
PhD Fellowship
I had a phone screen and then two more interviews, and the whole thing was pretty good. Everything was clear and organized, and they gave me good info. I also liked that they worked with my travel time difference. The interviews were more like chats with nice people who care about the same things. I learned about how they work, which was cool.
- Can you explain how your experience relates to this fellowship?

The interview process was super slow and really unprofessional. My first interview at the company went okay, but I was surprised there wasn't a phone interview first. The second interview was about a month later, and I had to do a presentation for everyone in the office. The hiring manager at the Brockton branch told me I'd hear back by that Friday, but I didn't. I emailed, and still nothing. I was about to give up, and then HR called asking if I was all set with the offer. I was so confused because no one had told me anything and the hiring manager hadn't replied to my emails. I tried to negotiate the salary, and the HR guy said the hiring manager wasn't willing to negotiate. I still took the job. I told them I had a vacation planned about a month into the job. The hiring manager was SO rude about it on the phone, asking why I wasn't discussing it with HR and then asking 'is that all?' before hanging up. I was like, what just happened?! So I called the HR guy, who apologized for her attitude and said it should be fine since it was only 5 business days, and I even offered to make up for the time. He said it should be fine and admitted she has an attitude problem. I started to doubt the job. Then he called me back to say the hiring manager wasn't okay with it and I had to choose. I chose my vacation and decided to avoid that situation. Don't bother with this place, even if you think you're desperate! The people in the office look miserable, management is awful, and the hiring manager was even rude and condescending to employees in front of me during my interview. That's not okay, ever.
