First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bristol Myers Squibb.
Project Manager
The interview process was good, with great communication and a welcoming atmosphere. Just a heads-up, there's no parking at the office, so plan your commute. The interview panel had three people; two were friendly, but one just took notes and didn't ask any questions.
- Tell me about a recent mistake and what you learned from it.
Project Manager
The whole hiring process took quite a while, about 2-3 months from applying to getting the offer. I heard back from a recruiter about a week after applying. Then it was another week or two before I spoke with the hiring manager. The panel interview took about 3-4 weeks, and then I had another follow-up meeting with the department manager after 2-3 more weeks. They extended the offer not long after that.
- How do you handle team conflicts?
Project Manager
It was a standard three-person interview process, 30 minutes each. I interviewed with two direct reports and one person from the business side client. They reviewed my resume and asked standard project management technique questions, questions about my past experiences, and several behavioral questions.
- How would you deal with challenging people?
