So I applied for a Full Stack Developer job, and they went through with it, offering me the role after some technical interviews. The whole thing felt off though. They pushed me to leave my current job quickly, and then, after all that, they took back the job offer. Now I'm out of work because of them. The management seems to have no integrity. They set up my company email, got me started with a team, and scheduled meetings. Then, after all that, they told me the offer was off the table, leaving me jobless. That's how they operate. I seriously wouldn't recommend this place. They've put me in a really tough spot, especially since I'm the only one supporting my family. My life was stable before their offer, and now it's a mess.

Briq HR reached out to me about a Full Stack Developer role. Briq is a solid product company that has raised $30M in Series C funding. About a week after initial contact, my interview was scheduled. The interview itself went well. There were two interviewers who wanted to assess my javascript skills. The interview was intermediate level, and they asked two javascript-based questions. We also had a discussion about a project, which was the best part. They also asked more questions on Javascript. Both interviewers asked me questions to test my javascript and programming abilities.

I had a 2-step interview process. First, an HR phone interview, then a video call with directors. The phone call was great, the HR person was really nice and easy to chat with. The video call, however, wasn't so great. They couldn't give me clear answers, and it seems like the position involves a lot of work. When I asked about benefits, they could only give me a general idea and told me to contact HR, which I thought was unprofessional. I wish they'd taken more initiative to find out the answer or follow up. To make matters worse, the video call got disconnected, and I was asked to email my questions. Not only were my questions not answered, but I received an email stating they weren't interested. It felt like they didn't value my time.

So, they reached out to schedule a meeting about a week and a half away, which I thought was a bit strange. The interviewer joined the call, but initially had the wrong name and resume for me. After asking a few questions, I realized she had me down for the wrong position, so we clarified that. She asked a few more questions and then quickly ended the call. The whole thing was supposed to be 30 minutes but only took 9 minutes. I have to say, it reflects poorly on their end. I get that they might have a lot of applications and try to group them, but this approach isn't working, and the hiring managers aren't getting their info straight and are rushing the process.
