First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Brimar Industries.
Director
It was a series of zoom calls with key people followed by an in-person interview. I liked how the interviews were scheduled quickly and how they respected my time. The interviews were like actual talks, helping me tell my stories better. Everyone I met was nice and made me feel good, leaving a good impression.
- How would you navigate the current tariff scenarios?
Sales Manager
The interview process was in-depth with over 4 rounds, but ultimately, they ghosted me. HR never followed up, and all my calls and emails to both HR and the hiring team were ignored. I would steer clear and not go through this process.
- How did I do on my presentation skills?
Systems Administrator
The interview was scheduled for the same day a huge snowstorm hit. They didn't even call to reschedule, even though it was for my safety. I made it there on time, but the interviewer kept me waiting 15 minutes. This company has a ton of computer devices, and they expect one person to handle everything. It feels like companies are cutting costs by using the cloud and not hiring enough IT staff. One person for this big of a company is basically two jobs. The interviewer was arrogant and condescending. I didn't feel welcome; the place felt cold and lifeless. They never got back to me with a decision. It seems like they don't value their employees. They also never bothered to contact me with a final decision on my candidacy.
- Are you the obedient and submissive type?
Print Production Specialist
Brimar contacted me via Indeed. I had an initial virtual chat with HR, followed by an in-person meeting with the print production manager. The process felt unprofessional, as the manager hadn't reviewed my resume before I arrived. The discussion focused on my background and included a tour of the factory. This was about a month ago, and I haven't heard back about the outcome.
- Can you describe your experience that pertains to this position?
