Don't bother unless you're desperate for cash. Super misleading. Advertised as marketing and events but not even close. The first interview was so fast I barely got to ask questions. They do this on purpose so you'll come back for a second interview where you'll "shadow someone" and be told to ask questions then. If you agree, you'll follow someone to Costco and be asked to approach people trying to sell them DirectTV. THEN you'll find out that's what you'd actually be doing. A joke! We didn't spend 4 years in university to sell cable packages. Nobody took on $50k in student loans to be that annoying sales person in grocery stores bugging people while they shop!

Behavioral Technical

I'm not sure how many rounds there are in total, because I stopped after the second round. The first round was okay, but not very helpful. The person I spoke with talked a lot but didn't share much info about the company or my actual role. In the second round, I found out this job is more about sales than marketing. It's similar to the 'brand ambassadors' you see for companies like Direct TV at places like Walmart, Sam's Club, or Costco. There's a way to get promoted internally, but you have to sign a lot of contracts or make a certain number of sales first. Overall, the job itself isn't bad, but the description and my initial impression were misleading. This role is actually sales, not marketing. If you're looking for a sales job, good luck!

I first chatted with JoAnna from HR after sending in my resume around Thanksgiving. She let me know the director looked at my resume and wanted to meet me to talk about working there. I went to a really nice office and met with the director, Zach. He was good at telling me about the hours, pay, and the campaigns they were running. The clients were in entertainment and retail events. It was pretty cool! I wanted to know more and meet a promotions manager to see how the company works. Hoping to hear back soon!

There were three rounds of interviewing. My first round interview was pretty brief but Zack did go into a lot of detail about the specifics of the company. The second round was the longest.. I got to actually see what position I was interviewing for in action. The third round was immediately after the 2nd round and was the quickest. This is where the negotiation process happened. He offered me the position because I was really adamant about starting ASAP.
