First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Brilliant Corners.
Data Analyst
Had a recruiter call. They talked about the job and asked me to introduce myself, explain why I'm interested in brilliant corners, and if I've used excel, sql, salesforce reporting, or sigma. It was about 30 mins and went smoothly. I'm waiting to hear back.
- What's your motivation for wanting to join brilliant corners?
Housing Navigator
I applied online and had a recruiter screen that went really well. Then I set up a panel interview with the team. The team and recruiter kept rescheduling because they didn't want to interview late. I felt like they weren't respecting my time. They kept moving the time, and after I asked for a new time, the recruiter ghosted me, so we never actually set a time.
- What makes you want to work in this position?
Project Manager
The interview process was extremely disappointing. I was sent an email to schedule an initial call/ phone screening. About an hour before the call was supposed to happen I received an email asking to reschedule the call to the next day at the same time. I replied that I could interview the next day but at a different time but did not receive confirmation until the next morning. The interview itself was easy enough, the interviewer did not seem all to confident in his questioning but I believe it want smoothly. I was told that they would reach out to me in a week with an answer. I week passes I reach out, no response. Another week passes I reach out, no response.
- Can you share some information about yourself and your experience?
Housing Specialist
After the second interview in May, I was told I'd hear back in a week about next steps. They asked about my availability, start date, and expectations. I never heard back and my follow-up emails went unanswered. I was totally ghosted mid-process and haven't heard anything since. It's unprofessional to just leave candidates hanging; a simple rejection email would be better. It gives you a sense of the work environment.
- Can you discuss your previous experience?
