It was online and the outcome was negative. Unfortunately, the position was not for me. But the people who were involved were very professional. I recommend the company.

So, I first met the Store Manager as a customer, and then they invited me for an interview. It was mostly behavioral, asking 'Tell me about a time when...' type questions. The very last question was a bit out there, a critical thinking one where the Manager asked for 3 ways to use a pencil other than writing. Thankfully, they didn't ask me to sell it, lol!

I had a phone screen with HR, then went for a face-to-face interview with a team of four people. This team included HR, the hiring manager, and two peers. The atmosphere felt welcoming, and everyone I met seemed professionally solid. The interview questions mainly focused on understanding the job function, how I would handle specific challenges, and how I would address the market opportunity. It wasn't overloaded with those quirky behavioral questions some interviewers like (like the old 'if you were a food, what would you be?' one).
