First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BrightSpring Health Services.
Clinical Team Lead
I had 2 interviews with the branch director and regional VP of Ops. They were a week apart and lasted about 30-40 minutes each. They asked about my previous work history. It was a little challenging but I think I did well.
- Do you enjoy being a patient?
QIDP/Case Manager
The interview was with the Program Manager. They asked a lot of routine background questions and also basic interview questions. They also asked about how I interact and perform with teamwork and communicate with clients and coworkers. I felt both at ease and listened to, and was invited to ask my own questions. It felt like a background check and then some group interaction which led to an offer.
- Can you share an instance where you handled pressure effectively?
- Describe your approach to teamwork and collaboration.
- How do you ensure effective communication with clients and colleagues?
Employment Specialist
It was a lengthy interview process. Initially, I met with two managers who asked me a series of resume-based questions and hypothetical scenarios, like discussing a time I disagreed with a manager's decision. After that interview, I was directed to a room where a graduation ceremony for job seekers was taking place. I was then unexpectedly asked to address the class of about 10 graduates. Following that, I was taken to another room to review a scenario. I had 5 minutes to prepare before a 'mock' class entered, and I had to lead a workshop based on the scenario. It was challenging but enjoyable. After the mock workshop, I spoke with another manager. They contacted me within a few days with a job offer.
- Could you start by telling us about yourself?
Life Skills Educator
I applied online and then went to their main office for an interview. It took them a few weeks to respond. During the interview, they asked me to write about a favorite childhood memory. After that, I met with HR to continue the process. I got back to them, and they let me know I could accept the job. The next steps involved a drug test and a mouth swab. I was eventually placed at the Texas Hill Country School. There, I met with the program director, who showed me around and we discussed my availability. The whole process was quite fast once the initial interview was done. They also do random drug testing.
