Director
This is a standard Director interview. You'll meet with an area business manager panel and a director regional panel. There's also teacher training, company policy training, and mentorship. They do a review at 30-90 days. The mentorship part varies depending on your experience and how much you need to be on site.
- What's your take on budgeting, staffing, productivity, training, marketing, and your management style?
- Can you elaborate on your experience with budgeting, staffing, productivity, training, marketing, and management style?
- Tell me about your budgeting, staffing, productivity, training, marketing, and management style.
Assistant Teacher
I applied for the job online and heard back the next day. The recruiter was friendly and we set up a phone interview for the following morning. I had already mentioned in my application that I had the required credentials and could provide proof.
- The interviewer was very pleasant and responded to my questions quickly and professionally.
Assistant Teacher
I went to an open house job fair. I was interviewed by two program directors. I got a call back two weeks later. The hiring process took a while, involving lots of paperwork and online certifications (which were free). I had to pay $127 for fingerprinting, and the fee wasn't waived. The hiring manager seemed stressed and lacked manners, which should've been a red flag.
- Describe how you would handle specific classroom scenarios.
- What is your experience working with children?
- What do you know about early childhood education curriculums?
Teacher
The interview process was really professional and quick. I started with a 15-minute phone interview with the recruiter at the center. Afterward, they set up an in-person interview with the academy director, which went great. She was super friendly and basically hired me right then! Now I'm just finishing up the fingerprinting and I should be starting in about a month.
- How would you explain to a parent if a child in your class bumped their head during playtime?
