First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Brightree.
Customer Service Representative
I had an interview with them. The first phone interview with the recruiter went okay. She explained a bit about the company and emailed me some brochures. I reviewed those for the video interview the next day with two managers. I immediately felt uncomfortable because they asked too many personal questions that I didn't think were necessary. The interview felt more critical than collaborative, which made it hard for me to communicate well. When asked what I knew about the company and the role, I said I knew it was a Customer Service role involving placing orders for CPAP machines from the job description. One of the interviewers then said, "that is not all that we do," and continued to talk about placing CPAP machine orders, which was contradictory.

Customer Service and Support Specialist
I applied online directly on their website. A recruiter reached out via email and phone. I called the recruiter back and got an invite for a video interview on HireVue the same day. It was a four-question interview, pretty easy and quick. The next day, I got an email to schedule a second phone interview with the team support manager. The call never came at the scheduled time. I was waiting by my phone, then checked my email and saw they tried to reach me. I immediately called the recruiter back. My phone, for some reason, doesn't ring when numbers from contacts call. T-Mobile admitted some people had similar issues. My phone provider said enabling WiFi calling might block calls. It didn't show up on their end or my spam blocker app. I removed any chance of future blocked calls by my cellular network. Unfortunately, they decided not to reschedule. The recruiter was nice and professional. I get that they had that time reserved for me, whether the timing was messed up or not. At least I was upfront and honest. I wish I could have shown my interest in the company overall and the role. I thanked them and hope they will still consider me for future jobs.

Account Manager
The whole thing took about 4 weeks. The recruiter was super helpful and kept me in the loop. First, there was a phone chat with the recruiter to go over the job, make sure it was a good fit for both sides, talk about salary, and get a feel for the company vibe. Then, I had a call with my future manager to really dig into the role, confirm I could handle the duties, see how my past experience fits, and get my questions answered. Both calls were great for setting expectations for the in-person part. The final stage was an in-person interview with five different people from various departments. I think this was to make sure I'd fit into the company culture and contribute something unique. They seem to really value a positive, energetic culture with experienced people who bring new ideas. It was clear they want people who will add value. I disagree with some reviews about diversity; I saw a lot of diversity there, and I'm a part of it. The key thing is bringing your unique skills, positive attitude, and fresh ideas to keep the energy up. I got an offer the very next day, and it was a really good one.

Software Engineer
First, I had a chat with HR about my background, resume, and when I'd be free for a phone interview. Then, I did a phone interview with the hiring manager where we went over my background and they asked some technical questions based on my resume. Finally, I had a two-hour on-site interview with the team. This included more background and technical questions tied to my resume, a written technical quiz covering ASP.NET Web Forms / MVC, C#, VB.NET, SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and a whiteboarding session for UML/ERD.
