First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Brightpoint Health.
Unit Supervisor
It was a bit intense, getting interviewed back-to-back by three different people who asked a ton of questions. It felt a little strange looking from one interviewer to the next after each question. But, interviews like this really do help to sharpen your skills.
- Do you know the company's core values?
- Can you answer questions in a way that incorporates the core values?
Nurse Manager
First, I had a 30-minute phone chat with a really nice person. Then, they set up an in-person interview two weeks later. That interview went pretty well, and they were really keen on understanding which of their core values resonated most with me. Things were going great overall. After that, I got an email to schedule a time to shadow an existing nurse manager. It took WEEKS of going back and forth before I finally found out the job was on hold because of budget issues. Honestly, I feel like someone should have told me instead of me having to chase answers.
- Which of the company's core values do you most connect with?
Account Liaison
I interviewed for Bright point health and met with Ms. Hayes and two account managers who were friendly. Later that day, Ms. Hayes took me for a second interview at their Bronx location. We toured the facility and she asked me a few questions. She said someone would contact me. It took a week and a half to hear back about an offer. I was told I was selected but needed internal approval, and HR would call. I waited three more weeks and was informed they were no longer hiring for that role due to company-wide layoffs. The person offered to consider me for another position but mentioned I wasn't proficient in Excel and would keep my resume on file. I felt this was unprofessional.
- What is your understanding of our company?
Counselor
It was a quick initial screening by HR. The interviewer was nice and seemed more focused on promoting the company than understanding my experience. The hiring process took quite a while due to internal approvals.
- What do you know about our company?
- Where do you see your career in 5+ years?
