First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Brighton Agency.
Art Director
First, I got an email from the assistant of the President/CEO to schedule a quick phone chat with her. We set it up for the next day via email. She was super nice and made things easy. The day after that, I got another email scheduling an in-person interview for the following week. The email also included details about who I'd be meeting with and where to park since they'd validate it. Finding the building and parking was straightforward. The in-person interview had 3 interviewers. I really liked the interview room because it felt more like a living room than a stuffy conference room, which made me feel more relaxed and confident. I always research companies before applying, but it was great that they asked about specific pieces from my website, not just my resume, showing they actually looked at my portfolio. One interviewer was particularly interested in a design I did for his favorite team, and I even had a sample of it with me! Not too long after, the assistant emailed to say I didn't get the job, but overall, the interview experience with Brighton was positive. I appreciated the quick response and enjoyed meeting the people I interviewed with. I'd definitely apply again if a more suitable role opens up.
- What inspires you?
Account Manager
I had a really nice phone interview first, mostly behavioral questions about my background. Then they offered me an in-person interview to meet senior leadership and the hiring managers. The questions were structured to see how I'd handle day-to-day situations, and everyone was super polite and engaging. It seems like a great place for friendly, high-achievers.
- Describe your approach to managing stress.
Account Director
The first step was a phone call with an external recruiter. Next, I had a virtual meeting with the CEO. The final meeting was in person where I met both the owner and the hiring manager.
- Can you tell me about your work ethic?
- How would you describe your working style?
- Are you open to a full-time in-office role?
