Behavioral Presentation

A recruiter reached out and we did an initial phone screen. Then I had a 30 minute interview with two team members, focusing on my experience and skills. After that, there was an hour-long panel interview with three people where I discussed my background and skills, and then gave a presentation on a topic I chose. The final step was an in-person meeting with two managers; it was more casual, for seeing the office and understanding the company culture. I had to do a background check, which was a hassle, digging up old documents. After the in-person meeting and a follow-up, I never heard back, not even a rejection. The interviews themselves were okay, but dealing with multiple recruiters was confusing. Not hearing back after all that was disappointing. The difficult background check and then silence felt really telling.

Behavioral Presentation Technical

The interview process was challenging. After the initial interview, they asked me to do a presentation for the second round. I felt I was already working for free and didn't put extra effort into branding the presentation, which they marked me down for. However, the campaign ideas I presented were unique. My approach was to focus on a subject first and then build the campaign and content around it, which differed from their content-first method. Following the presentation, they wanted me to interview with their US Head in the evening. I had prior commitments but was willing to reschedule. They then suggested postponing it to the next day, but I never heard back. After a week of silence despite sounding very interested initially, I withdrew from the process, feeling I was being messed around. I initially declined feedback but later received some after the interviewer gave a half-hearted apology for the delay. There were other red flags earlier; the interviewer was smug about another company I was interviewing with and was overly familiar during the first interview. Despite advising HR experts, their own HR practices and salaries seemed lacking, with the Campaign Manager role offering only £48,300, which was one of the lowest I encountered.

Behavioral Technical

I was reached out to by an external recruiting agency. It looked like I had the qualifications for the role. The agency set up an interview with the hiring manager. The manager mentioned recent management changes and that their main concerns were personality fit and daily energy levels, which I found vague since those things are hard to assess before being hired. They also mentioned the team's loud and sarcastic dynamic, suggesting it might not suit everyone and possibly indicating a less inclusive environment. The hiring manager offered to answer questions. I followed up via email the same day, but received no response. The recruiter also confirmed they would follow up the following week, but I never heard back from them either.

Behavioral Technical Presentation Case

It was a phone call, then another phone call. After that, there was a 3-hour interview with the President and CEO, who tag-teamed me. I had to sell them something and answer a lot of questions. Then I talked to some other colleagues. The vibe was chill, the people were really nice, and nothing was crazy, just very organized and purposeful. They asked a bunch of questions and I needed to give thoughtful comments.
