On Board Train Attendant
It was a super easy but took a long time. I applied online and waited about a month to hear back. Then I got a phone call interview where they basically introduced themselves and told me about the job. After that was done, I was set up for an in person interview.
- How would you deal with a tough situation?
Guest Service Representative
I had to do an assessment, then a phone interview, and then a video interview. It took them about 3 weeks to get back to me after the initial phone call. The video interview lasted 30 minutes. In the end, I didn't get the job because they decided to move forward with other candidates.
- What makes you want to be a part of the Brightline team?
Executive
Applied online, then spoke with HR for an interview. After that, had an online video chat with the hiring manager. The HR chat was pretty standard and straightforward. The manager seemed disengaged and uninterested, like he couldn't think of questions to ask me. After that, there was just silence – no follow-up, no notification about the position being filled or someone else being chosen. It seems like the company's poor reputation and culture are well-deserved, as they clearly don't value people.
- Could you start by telling me a bit about yourself?
Train Attendant
I applied online and a few days later, I got an invite for a phone interview, then a face-to-face one. The whole thing was pretty straightforward, and they were good about keeping me informed and answering my questions. They said they'd be in touch after I finished, but then I waited for weeks with no word back, which is a shame because I know they're looking for people.
- Can you share an instance from your past experiences?
- Tell me about a time you faced a difficult situation.
- Describe a situation where you had to collaborate with others.
