I applied online and got an email about a week later to set up a phone screen. It was a standard phone screen, like tell me about yourself. They invited me for a Skype interview during the phone screen because I wasn't local. Since I was going to be in New York, I asked if I could do an onsite interview, and they agreed. I met with two people there. The onsite started with 5 quick puzzle questions. Then they asked me why I was interested in the position and the company. They showed me a graph in their Energy ScoreCard software and asked me to explain it and what I learned from it. The job is client-facing, so they asked if that was something I liked. They also asked if I'd ever combined data from different sources before.

I was contacted by phone by a hiring manager who scheduled a short talk for us a couple days later. Quickly moved on to a video interview with him and a VP. There I was bombarded with questions rapidly like I was in some sort of boxing match. No opportunity for me to really ask about the company, position, etc. Ghosted and had to call back to the hiring manager multiple times to shame him into telling me they moved on and reminding him that everyone is due at least that sort of common courteous and it says a lot about their character and he sheepishly agreed. You're better than this place, I promise.

The interview process wasn't too difficult and involved some basic questions. I did some research on the company beforehand. The interview was conducted on Zoom. It started with an HR representative and then concluded with an interview with a team member from the department I'd be joining.
