I was interviewed on-site about two weeks ago at Bright Kids. I had already been through a phone screening. The interviewer was a little late but cordial and questioned me for an hour. He took copious notes between each question. He seemed very impressed with my answers, commenting positively. Near the end of the hour, he abruptly said we had to stop. When I asked about the specific position, he said it was for HR, not him. I was walked out quickly and he didn't mention when I would hear back. I sent an email the next day to him and HR thanking them. I received no response. A week later, I emailed HR asking when I could expect to hear back, and still no response. I feel like I gave them a free consulting session, which is an unethical practice.

I had two interviews where I talked to some of the higher ups. They really look at your past experience to see if you can help. They asked me about my tutoring experience and my ability to figure out if students get the material. They also wanted to know what I was interested in doing, like curriculum development, tutoring, or admin stuff.

The interview was at their Downtown office. It was one on one with the Office Manager. They asked general questions about your background and skills. It took about 20 minutes. They let you know within a week if they want to bring you into round two or not.

I had one interview with a really nice lady. She asked me common interview questions about my background and abilities. They mainly wanted to know about my experience with customers and how I manage those interactions.
