The interviewer seemed really uninterested from the start. They were clearly reading from a script and just going through the motions. I'm pretty experienced, and they seemed very young, which is fine, but I got the vibe they were eager to wrap things up because I wasn't, like, 25.

I applied via a staffing agency. There was an online technical assessment and a personality assessment. Then, I had several virtual one-on-one interviews. I was able to book all my interviews myself online. Early talks focused on company values and cultural fit. The technical interviews covered software development basics and my past experience. I enjoyed meeting everyone. Briebug was flexible with my schedule and even set up a meeting with the VP of Operations for me when I requested it to clear up remaining questions.

Behavioral Presentation

Had a phone chat where the interviewer mostly talked about how great the company is. Then, later that day, they called me back and invited me for an in-person interview. During that meeting, I explained how I thought marketing could help the business. They asked about the website and what improvements I'd suggest. I gave my answers, and the interview was quite brief. They called again the same day with a job offer.

This hiring process felt more like they were looking for free work through a 90-day plan assignment rather than filling a position. A major red flag was when the CEO mentioned he had fired the entire marketing team just a year ago.
