Bridgewater College Interview Questions
& Process

The interview process was quick and respectful. Overall, it was what I'd call a very normal and average experience. It wasn't stressful, but rather an enjoyable and welcoming interaction. They were clear about expectations beforehand.

I talked with the CFO, Director of Facilities, Office Administrators, and my direct reports. We talked about what's happening on campus now, what they need from their Supervisor, and what changes would help employee morale.

I applied online and heard back two weeks later about scheduling a phone interview. It was a thorough and polite call. A week after that, I got an email for an in-person interview. Everyone was really nice and considerate during the in-person part. It was a bit intimidating to have one-on-one meetings with directors from different departments, but it gave me a great feel for the company culture and a better understanding of the job.

The faculty member was nice but sometimes acted condescending. They misrepresented the job description. There was a really awkward gender imbalance, with almost everyone being male. They weren't interested in research or professional engagement within the field. Their entire focus was on teaching, and nothing else.
