I had a phone screening. The screener contacted me via text to set up a time. I had to initiate contact because the screener didn't reach out at the scheduled time. They asked two questions about my background, then inquired about my mechanical expertise. After that, they asked if I was interested in a store-level, non-management position. I've been managing multiple stores as a district/area manager for almost 10 years, and I didn't apply to be an area manager just to end up in a store technician job. What a waste of time.

Very nervous it has been a long time since I have interviewed for a job. Second interview more about our vision and all about employees. Great experience for me. Another great experience. A lot of personality based questions that was not really prepared to answer.

The whole process felt really unorganized, with a serious lack of communication, almost like talking to a bot. It started with a phone screen that went well, and then I was immediately sent an online assessment. After I finished the test, the status on the portal updated to 'under consideration.' It took about 8 weeks to hear back, and when I finally did, they told me they had already selected another candidate and I was out of the running.
