They called me for this job and ended up offering me three different positions because I didn’t qualify even though they reached out to me for the position. The recruiter was also 15 minutes late to our scheduled interview, which were major red flags.

I had three interviews: a phone interview, an interview with the store manager, and an interview with the area manager. The first phone interview was about 20 minutes, with some pre-screening questions. After that, they asked me to come in for a face-to-face interview. During the face-to-face, we talked more about my resume. About a week later, I spoke with the area manager, who asked more detailed questions about my work experience and the job.

Behavioral Technical

Firestone likes to promote people who already work there. They put job openings up internally first and will interview anyone who might be a good fit before they even think about hiring someone new. After the job posting closes, they'll interview the internal folks. This usually involves a few managers and someone from HR. Then there's a wait, sometimes up to a few weeks, while the managers figure out if any of the candidates are right for the job or if they need to keep looking.

  • Can you tell me about your three main strengths?
  • What would you say are your three biggest weaknesses?
  • Describe a situation where you failed and how you dealt with it.
