The interview process was mostly standard, but they started with an interesting questionnaire that offered a chance to showcase strengths and stand out. This likely helped as I received a call to schedule an interview within a couple of days. I had two phone interviews that went well, and it was easy to connect with both interviewers. We found common ground quickly and focused on what mattered. During the second interview, we realized I lacked some of the required experience. Although I didn't get the job, I understood why and have ideas for gaining the necessary skills. They left the door open for future opportunities. Despite not getting the job, it was a positive learning experience.

Bridgeline's hiring process is pretty thorough. You can expect to have a bunch of interviews with managers from different departments, and also with people who are already doing the job you're going for. They'll be checking your past work experience against what they need for this role, so make sure you can show how you fit throughout the whole process.

I saw the job ad on LinkedIn. For the role, there was a phone screen and two writing samples needed. Then, the onboarding included 1-hour training on the software products. The job was fixed-deliverable, not paid weekly, and the project management was bad, leading to frequent time overruns that I had to cover. I don't suggest taking a contract role with this company.

I started with a recruiter screen, then sent my resume. After that, I had three more phone screens with the CEO, the Senior Vice President of Business Development, and HR. There were also some face-to-face interviews with key people and I had to write a self-assessment. They also sent me a sales skills document. The communication was great throughout and it moved pretty fast. Overall, a good experience.
